MANAGING SHAREHOLDER

Mark has over 25 years of experience working in the accounting and tax field, and has built an excellent reputation for quality service and personal attention. Previously, his experience is quite extensive. As the Controller of mid to large companies, he has managed accounting departments, been through numerous audits, and completed intricate tax returns. After years of working in the Corporate sector, he started his own company to help individuals and businesses with their accounting and tax needs.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, is certified as a Public Accountant, and earned his Juris Doctor Degree from William S. Boyd School of Law in May 2020.

When he's not working, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and diving into a good book. He’s also passionate about sharpening his skills in Muay Thai and indoor climbing.

AUDIT MANAGER

Graduating from Southern Utah University in 1991 at the age of 21, Phil was one of the youngest students in their history to receive his Master’s in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner with almost 30 years of experience, primarily in the non-profit industry. Along with his individual and business clientele, Phil leads the financial reporting team; bringing the unique talent of helping the ‘non-accountant’ understand complex financial statements.

He has a lengthy history of volunteering and has served on several non-profit boards since ‘98. He is the board Treasurer for a Marriott timeshare and currently serves as Board Chair for SLAM Nevada. He is a Toastmaster and has served many years in Toastmasters District Leadership; being District Finance Manager four separate terms, the District Administration Manager, and the District Audit Chair.

Phil has the heart and soul of a road tripper. He has driven over a million miles in his life thus far, including all 50 states and five countries. He loves the outdoors, including camping, hiking and backpacking. He is a devoted husband, married 20 years to the love of his life, Kim; and father of three wonderful children.

VP / SHAREHOLDER

Rachel Kasminoff serves as Vice President and Shareholder of Kasminoff & Associates, CPA Ltd. In this role, she oversees office procurement and manages the aesthetic and functional environment of the firm, ensuring the workspace reflects the professionalism and warmth K&A brings to every client relationship.

Rachel brings a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to everything she takes on, whether in the office or at home, where she manages a busy household as a mother of five and caretaker to two dogs. Her ability to keep multiple priorities moving at once translates directly into the energy and care she brings to her role at the firm.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys a good movie and rare moments of downtime, though those moments are hard to come by given her active pace of life.

SENIOR HR MANAGER

With 7+ years in HR, a BA in Psychology, and a UI/UX Design certificate from Berkeley (yes, she can read people AND redesign a website, no big deal), Victoria has range. She keeps the humans at K&A hired, happy, and out of HR-related trouble, and if the company website ever needs an opinion on user flow, she's got that covered too.

Outside the office, Victoria is a runner (sort of successful at it, but she'll take it), a yoga enthusiast working toward the elusive human pretzel status (currently 45% flexible, 100% committed), and full-time servant to her perfect angel mutt, Layla, who is very much the actual head of household. Victoria just pays the bills and refills the treat jar.

STAFF AUDITOR

Vanessa has over 25 years of experience serving owner managed businesses working in public accounting firms and directly for private businesses. Although initially pursuing a degree in Sociology, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She enjoys interacting with clients and staff and will teach accounting to whoever will listen!

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

With over two decades in finance, accounting, and human resources, Kimberly has built her career on getting the details right and taking care of the people around her. She started out as a bookkeeper at Chapman Walters Intercoastal Corp and worked her way up to Controller in just five years, then went on to lead as Manager of Finance at Socal Turnaround Partners, Inc. (ProMAX Systems) for over a decade, where she oversaw everything from financial reporting to payroll to her team's day-to-day well-being. She holds a bookkeeping certificate from Sawyer Bookkeeping School and brings the same steady, caring approach to every role she takes on.

When she's not balancing the books, Kimberly is at home in Texas with her husband and her two golden retrievers, who have her fully wrapped around their paws.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Francis is a seasoned HOA Accounting professional with over 21 years of experience, progressing from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Clerk to Staff Accountant and now Senior Accountant. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix (2007).

Born and raised in Oahu, Francis relocated to Las Vegas in 2004. Outside of work, he loves watching and playing sports, enjoys the outdoors, and cherishes time spent with his family.

CLIENT SUCCESS COORDINATOR

Debra brings care and precision to everything she does, both on the job and at home. She currently serves as Client Success Coordinator here at Kasminoff & Associates, where her background as a legal assistant shines through in how she manages client relationships with organization, attentiveness, and a genuine commitment to getting things right. She's currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Social Work at the University of Phoenix and recently earned a certification in Strategic Problem Solving, a fitting testament to how she approaches challenges both big and small.

Outside of work, Debra is a proud mom of four beautiful kids who absolutely drive her crazy, and she wouldn't trade a single minute of it. Her patience, warmth, and ability to juggle it all shine through in everything she does.

With a few years of web design already under his belt, it was a no brainer to have him on board, and he’s been steadily improving the site’s already great foundation.

When Brandon isn’t designing the site and emails, he’s out rock climbing, enjoying a good movie, yelling at his teammates online, or writing a book. He also enjoys long walks on the beach.
